Slipping through the legal net…

Happy Christmas Everyone and Thank You

Happy Christmas Everyone and a BIG Thank You to all those who have helped with the contributions to the “Camapaign Fund”  :-)

Spain is not called “surreal” for nothing; I often refer to “another day in Surreal Spain” and so it is. When you are born here you grow up with the daily changes and accept them as part of life. Live here as a foreigner for long enough and you become accustomed to misinformation.

You may be reliably informed of one thing on one day, act on the information only to be told that the information you received was totally wrong and could not possibly have ever been true! It makes planning anything to do with authority a hit and miss affair which can be amusing on end of the scale and deeply frustrating at the other.

However, the machinery of justice grinds slowly on and as the finger of homelessness beckons all that remains is to look forward to another chapter in the journey of life.

Happy Christmas Everyone.

Can You Help Prevent Homelessness?

Can You Help Prevent Homelessness This Christmas?

In order to prevent homelessness this Christmas and beyond, we have been working hard to petition the Torrox Court about certain “incorrect procedures.”

However, in order to hear the petition a sum of € 1,900 is needed. More than a third has been paid but there is a shortfall of € 1,200. Can you help prevent homelessness and an injustice from being performed by making a donation to Ed’s Campaign Fund?

If you can then please make a donation by going to the “HOW CAN YOU HELP PAGE” NOW.

A heart felt thank to those who have helped already and a Happy Christmas to you all.

Tak for hjælpen

A Few Days to Christmas

A Few Days to Christmas and a few more to homelessness…

I have never experienced anything like this before and I hope you never have to…Christmas in its normal form is as surreal as Spain itself.

To pick up the story…Support was needed and we have looked for it…

My fiancée and I have called on our family, we have called on our friends and we thank  you all for your support. Do you know, if it was not for the power of communication and  the strength of family and friendship and faith we would all have nothing?

So thank you all…

Happy Christmas…You Are Homeless!

Happy Christmas…”You are Homeless!”

How would you like a Christmas card like that?

No one would of course but this is what, in effect, I have received courtesy of Valerie Celia Russell and her legal representatives in Spain, DeCotta McKenna and Santafé and Torrox Court.

In order to fight any justice you need money. Those that have money can fight for their justice or injustice, in one way or the other. The more you have the more you can fight until the lawyers sort it out.

But when you have little or no money that is when you can find yourself on the rough side of the legal process…but justice should still provail…

In this situation,  there is not much difference to being a gambler in Las Vegas (and we all know who runs that show)…the lesson here is…don’t run out of money and certainly DO NOT give it all to a deserting wife for whatever reason…
